Our Latest Project

If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him…We need not wait to see what others do.

The Spark of Change: How a Vision Became a Movement

We are delivering our speech and special thanks to the teacher and the principal at the school before doing the final touch.

How has it all started? The inception of our organization began with a spark of inspiration. During our time in the challenging International Baccalaureate program, our founder and co-founder encountered a world of knowledge and opportunity that opened their eyes to the importance of education. Realizing how fortunate they were, they pondered how they could make a meaningful impact.

Our founders were driven by a powerful vision of a world where education is not a privilege but an essential human right accessible to all. This vision, encapsulated in the motto 'Be the Change,' was inspired by the timeless words of Gandhi.

Starting with local outreach, we aimed to provide educational opportunities to those in need, focusing on holistic development. Their initial efforts were small but impactful, and they soon expanded their reach. Today, "Be the Change" stands as a testament to the power of an idea and the determination to act on it. Their journey serves as a reminder that by sharing our fortune, we can create a better, more equitable world.

The Final Touch

Progress in Motion

Everything started with a piece of paper

The first step was calculating the estimated cost on paper. We contacted the school, realizing that we needed to act quickly.

Given the intensity of their IB studies, our team worked remotely, collaborating with residents, teachers, and the principal to address the exterior of the building.

The initial task involved restoring the windows, and the first funds raised were allocated to the building's exterior. For safety reasons, the authorities required the installation of fences.

The school was fully painted, with our team supplying the necessary materials, covering the labor costs, and recruiting local volunteers.

After being informed that the furniture and supplies had started arriving, our team flew to the school and spent several days organizing everything in preparation for the grand opening.

A Part of our field team was at the airport, ready to fly to Şanlıurfa.

In the final moments before the opening, our team engaged with the students. Başar shared stories with the students while Kuzey prepared the speech notes and distributed certificates to the students.

After the exterior of the school was completed and funded by generous donors, we needed to secure school supplies, clothing, furniture, and more. Recognizing the need to reach a broader audience, our creative team collaborated with the rest of the organization to design a poster for our fundraising campaign.

Our field team continued decorating the school while interacting with the students. Our creative design team collaborated with both students and teachers to design the desired elements. The students specifically requested a "Space Theme" for one of the walls.

After the opening speech, delivered by the school principal, our SEV American College President, Kuzey Kaya, and Neslihan Aksu, our team posed for photos with the students, while in the background, our volunteers and teachers took additional photos.
